Pistachio Spread Banana Toast

   Select the right bread: Choose a sturdy bread that can hold toppings without becoming soggy. Sourdough provides a nice tang that complements the sweet pistachio spread, brioche adds richness, and whole grain offers a nutty flavor and extra nutrition. Slice it about 1.5cm (½ inch) thick.

   Toast the bread perfectly: Place your bread slices in a toaster or under a grill/broiler. Toast until golden brown and crispy on the outside but still slightly soft inside - about 2-3 minutes in a toaster on medium setting. The toast should be firm enough to support the toppings without breaking.

   Work quickly while toast is warm: Remove the toast and place on a clean plate or cutting board. The warmth of the fresh toast will slightly soften the pistachio spread, making it easier to spread and enhancing its aroma.

   Apply the Pistasho spread generously: Spoon about 1½ tablespoons of Pistasho pistachio spread onto each slice of warm toast. Using the back of the spoon or a butter knife, spread it evenly from edge to edge in smooth strokes. The warmth of the toast will help it spread easily.

   Prepare the banana: Peel the banana and slice it on a diagonal (bias cut) into pieces about 5mm (¼ inch) thick. Diagonal cuts create larger, more elegant slices that cover more surface area and look more appealing.
